Multiple Sclerosis Society – 20km Walk – 9th September 2023

MS is an unpredictable and incurable condition that affects people’s nervous systems. It can attack suddenly or progress steadily, bringing a range of symptoms which can include sight loss, incontinence, fatigue, and mobility problems.

In December 2022, Megan Quinn from our finance team in TPS Cumbernauld was diagnosed with MS at the young age of 25. She has not let her diagnosis ruin her spirit, her bubbly personality, or her positive attitude. Megan is an inspiration, and all of us within TPS are so proud of her for facing MS head on with a smile on her face, just as we all knew she would.

Megan has spoken of the MS Society highly, saying “The work MS Society do is absolutely amazing and since my diagnosis I have wanted to do as much as I can to help fund the research and advancement in treatment and services for those affected by MS.”

On the 9th of September, the TPS Cumbernauld team supported Megan by taking part in the 20km MS Walk 2023 in Glasgow Green. Megan, colleagues, friends, and family have already donated over £4k towards this incredible Charity.
